Abstract The importance of professional learning and development for quality in kindergartens has been established international research. fact that the kindergarten is a organization can be crucial achieving necessary learning. aim this study was to investigate what characterizes Norwegian as organizations. Our research question is: What kind understanding do managers have organization, they believe must learn about perceive characteristics kindergarten? We conducted qualitative interviews with five managers. findings point joint reflection key characteristic kindergarten. However, struggle make natural part day-to-day practice. Consequently, fail utilize an important potential Hence, we conclude there untapped kindergartens.
